Separated at Birth

Celebrating the wonderful world of rock influences and, at times,
plain old plagiarism.....

Tonights Separated at Birth features the 80s classic Runaway by the
then youthful Bon Jovi. Have a listen then juice up YouTube or

For the brave....

If you are feeling brave (on many levels!) try out the seven minute
epic from Toto (of Africa fame!) called Hydra from 1979. Classic
start, dodgy post-start (is that a real term?!) and some awesome
riffage!!

It's a grower!!

If it was Food:

Prepare a Kansas base, add a pre-metal riffage filling and glaze with
a Clannad Robin of Sherwood milky goop.

G's find of the night!!

Stunning track from Bruce Kulick guitarist (Ex Kiss - 1984 to 1996) 2010 album BK3 - go to Spotify NOW and checkout Hand Of The King.

IF THIS WAS FOOD : take a tablespoon of VR, add a dollop of Chris
Cornell and mix with a mighty dose of Shinedown. Bake on gas mark 7 for 20 minutes and try to figure out who the hell else he sounds like (Joe Bonamassa?!). Damn good taste....

Golden Oldie

A classic from 1974 - checkout School by Supertramp....

An amazing harmonica intro!!
